Betty Sue Thomason, 85, wife of the late Fletcher “Tommy” Thomason, of 15855 Wells Hwy, Seneca, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Westminster, SC, Mrs. Thomason was the daughter of the late Cleo and Kate Freeman Blackwell. She retired from Beacon Manufacturing and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Thomason is survived by her sons: Bob Thomason (Melody) of Cleveland, GA, Ken Thomason (Nancy) of Anderson, SC and Greg Thomason (Olga) of Jefferson, GA; daughters: Lisa Spence (Albert) of Central, SC and Jan Carpenter (Russell) of Leesville, SC; sisters: Helen Stewart and Barbara Pearson; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Thomason is preceded in death by her brother: Charles Blackwell. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel.
