Mr. Donnie William Martin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Donnie William Martin, 82, of 110 Don’s Lane, Walhalla, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020, at his daughter’s home. A native of Westminster, SC, Mr. Martin was the son of the late Garnett Charles Martin and Minnie Belle O’Kelley Martin. He was a devout Christian and was a member of the Free Chapel Church and was of the Church of God faith. He loved the Lord with all his heart. Mr. Martin is survived by his children: Douglas Martin (Lisa), Lori Young (Earl), Keith Martin, Melissa Pressley (David), Grace Workman (Mark), and Samuel Martin; grandchildren: Jennifer Mitchell, LeAnn Schmuck (Trey), Emily Bethea (Tyler), Ryan Martin, John Pressley (Sarah), and Hannah Bass (Ben), and Margret Workman; and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Martin is also survived by brothers: Kenneth Martin and Michael Martin; and sisters: Judy Crowe and Sandra Whitt and ex-wife and friend, Christine Bolt Martin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his brothers: Alfred Martin, Robert Martin, and Garnett Martin. He was also preceded in death by his ex-wife and friend, Eva Blackwell Martin. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 4:00 pm: Free Chapel Church, 140 Lighthouse Road, Walhalla, SC 29691 Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
