Mr. Larry Allen Felton

Larry Allen Felton, age 82, of Westminster, S.C. Was born on December 7, 1942, husband of Sandra Lee Nevinski Felton, Larry passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at Cottingham Hospice House, Seneca, S.C. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia was the son of the late Howard Carlton Felton and Genevie Lucille Mitchell Felton. Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Army, served two years in Vietnam, received Vietnam Services Metal, Vietnam Campaign Metal, and National Defense Service Metal.He spent his childhood in West Virginia and grew up in Royal Oak Michigan. After returning from Vietnam he met the love of his life, Sandra Nevinski on the famous Woodward Avenue, in Royal Oak, Michigan. On October 14, 1967, they were married, being together for 58 years. Married life began in Michigan being a wonderful husband and father, was a very active father at Lessenger Elementary School, Oak Park, Michigan, member of the PTA, and was even voted “Father of the Year”. He played on the mens softball team, and was assistant coach for his wife’s softball team, and was active with both boys in little league baseball. Summer was a “hot dog” between games. Winter life was all about bowling leagues, which was enjoyed by his family and father, who was an amazing bowler, and his parents were the owners of Royal Oak Bowling Alley, in Royal Oak, Michigan. Larry was introduced to the game of golf by Sandy’s parents, and Larry found the “love of golf”. Which was why he ended up living his best life in Chickasaw Point, Westminster, S.C. Employment had Larry and family moving from Michigan, to Maryland, Georgia, and South Carolina because of job opportunities with sales, service, and management of the overhead commercial garage door industry for his entire career. In addition to his wife, Mr. Felton was survived by his sons; Gregory Felton and Jeffrey (Abbigail) Felton, proud grandfather of Cooper Felton and Shepard Felton. Brother of twin sisters, Sharon Felton and Karen Davis and brother-in-law of Patty Felton, Gina Mel, Donna Crees, John (Rustie) Crees and dozens of sweet nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Felton was preceded in death by his grandson Brett Felton, brothers, Howard Felton, William Felton and sister Mary Edith Travis, and brother-in-laws Coy Travis, Delmas Davis and Donald Crees. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or American Heart Association. Burial and arrangements will take place at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, S.C. at a later date.
