Miss Lili Faith Gilliam

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lili Gilliam, who was born on April 25, 2002, in Anderson, South Carolina. Lili passed away on July 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and light that will never be forgotten. Lili was passionate, creative, and brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She embraced others with unconditional kindness, believing that people deserved to be accepted, valued, and loved for who they were. Her positivity was genuine, contagious, and uplifting to everyone around her. Whether through music, art, or writing, Lili expressed herself with remarkable creativity. She had a beautiful gift for turning her thoughts and emotions into something meaningful that resonated with others. Behind her gentle smile was a heart full of empathy. Lili had a unique way of making people feel seen, heard, and understood. She was always willing to reach out to those who were struggling-even while quietly carrying battles of her own. Lili longed to find her place in the world. She dreamed of traveling, making a difference, and becoming someone she could be proud of. Though her journey was far too short, the love she shared and the lives she touched will continue to inspire everyone who knew her. She is survived by her mother and father, Kelly and Austin Doyle, sisters Justus Gilliam (Cameron Cooper) and Trisha Crowe, brother Darby Gilliam. and nephew Lucas Gilliam Grandparents; Beth Wirtz, Dean James, Sheldon Keener, Kathy O’Rourke (Alfredo Cantina), Melvin Gilliam. Great Grandparents; Glenn and Brenda “Jo” Lyle Aunts & Uncles; Donna Jamieson (Brian Kaplewicz), Jessica Blackwell (Ben), Justin Doyle (Mallory), Priscilla James, Gus James (Kaycee), Marilyn Cooper, Scott James (Teresa), too many cousins to name, and friends of the heart as close as family. Lili was preceded in death by her father, Shawn Gilliam. Grandparents; Jerry Wirtz, Marion and Tom Whiting, Mary Holland Great grandparents; Verlin and Flossie Keener Aunts and Uncles; Kenny Whiting, Tim Cooper In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Lili's honor to organizations supporting autism awareness and mental health causes that were close to her heart. A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 8, 2026. Held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Event Center at Keowee Key 1 Country Club Road Salem, SC 29676. Lili wanted all of her people to come: not to mourn her, but celebrate her!! Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Lili's life, to share memories, and to celebrate the love and light she brought into the world.
