Shannon Nichole Parton February 25,1972 - May 17, 2024 May 17, 2024, the wandering spirit of Shannon Nichole Parton started its next new journey bright and early at 4:15am. Knowing Shannon, she more than likely left 45 mins early to make sure she saved one of the good tables for the rest of us. Physically holding her hand, head, and heart in the last moments of breaths was her loving wife of 7 seven years, Stacey Robarge, and her eldest son, Jason Prince. Shannon graced this world by way of her birth mother, Oleada Lambert, on February 25, 1972. If you didn’t follow southern tradition and asked her for her birthday or age, she might have told you something between 1982 or any age between 25-35 yrs old . She was raised by her father, Thad Russell Parton, and mother, Dorothy Beauanna Heaton Parton. In her true warrior goddess form she was strong, valiant, ferocious , and unsuspecting. Unsuspecting because she tried her best not to show the pain she had been in for so many years. No one would ever know her heartache and how she felt like she had to be the strongest nor how much pain she was in. All these years…. She felt like she deserved all the bad. It was karma, she told herself. She blamed herself for all the situations she was put in and all of those leading towards hurting the ones she loved the most. No one would see her wince and no one would see the hurt, guilt, and regret in her eyes. Instead they would get a best friend and a devoting daughter. A competing french fry wisher, a ‘next country song’ fortune teller, and leave everything at the drop of a hat and start a new adventure. She rode this life out without judgement to her fellow man and would give her last dollar to a homeless man driving a Porsche as she was broke down and happened to walk by him. Shannon was a walking out loud shower thought talker. The best storyteller and the best first hand experience comrade. I am assured that she is saving a seat for all of us. Including her father Thad Russell Parton; wife, Stacey Robarge, children; Leigha Romine (Jesse), Jason Prince, Ben Prince (Lindsey). Four grandchildren, Sammy Romine, Jade Prince, Elizabeth and Isabella Prince. Also awaiting a seat are 6 living siblings; Linda Tilson (Gerald), JoAnn Wilson, Walter Wilson, Kathy Bryant, Roger Wilson, and finally Kelley Parton-Pierce (Bill). Along her travels she met and loved and was loved by many. So many important people that it would be impossible to mention so as a living sibling, we would collectively, appreciate for anyone and everyone to join us in a true celebration of the life of Shannon Nichole Parton 2:00 PM, Saturday on, June 1, 2024 115 Park Place Drive, Seneca, SC 29678. Come with a plate of your choosing, a picture, a memory, or just leave thoughts and memories to be shared privately or out loud on the 1st. I hope the man driving the Porsche and the man sleeping in the wet cardboard box can both join us. All are welcome.
